This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career marketing professional eager to develop skills in content creation and campaign execution. You will support content and communication efforts by crafting engaging blog posts, newsletters, and product announcements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain editorial calendars, coordinate with freelance writers, and contribute to user engagement initiatives. This position offers a dynamic environment to grow your writing skills while gaining exposure to technical products and digital marketing tools.
Accountabilities:
- Write and edit blog posts, newsletters, and product announcements based on team inputs
- Maintain the editorial calendar and assist with content research and planning
- Coordinate with freelance writers and review drafts to ensure quality
- Transform product updates and internal communications into user-friendly content
- Assist in building and executing email campaigns, including newsletters and nurture sequences
- Support creation of in-app messages and announcements using platforms like Intercom
- Perform simple updates to the company website using WordPress and support content formatting and quality assurance
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Design teams to align messaging and priorities
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in content marketing, communications, or related roles (internships and freelance experience count)
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
- Interest or experience writing for technical audiences is a plus
- Familiarity with WordPress, email marketing tools, and basic graphic design software (Canva, Figma) is helpful but not mandatory
- Highly organized, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
