Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and internal tools that accelerate product development.
- Enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure and application layers seamlessly.
- Provide technical guidance and respond to production incidents, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Develop APIs, frameworks, and shared libraries to empower product teams and improve engineering efficiency.
- Partner with multiple teams to orchestrate large-scale initiatives and deliver high-impact solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
- Advanced knowledge of Node.js and proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
- Strong system design and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address ambiguous challenges.
- Familiarity with databases (Postgres/MySQL) and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka).
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with 20+ distributed teams.
- Hands-on troubleshooting mindset with a readiness to take on complex challenges.
