Join a profitable, purpose-driven fintech as a Talent Management Partner, where you’ll shape how talent is developed, retained, and grown across the business. This is a strategic role within a fast-scaling People function, with direct influence on the company’s journey from start-up roots to recent success as a publicly listed business. With 23% year-on-year revenue growth, the company is dedicated to helping small and medium-sized enterprises get off the ground.
About the Role
Reporting to the VP of People (returning from parental leave in August), you’ll play a central role in the People team’s evolution. This is a strategic individual contributor position, not a traditional L&D manager role.
You will:
- Design and launch scalable talent frameworks across performance, learning, succession, and engagement
- Lead business-wide succession planning, with a focus on Director-level roles and above
- Build and manage relationships with external learning providers and coaches
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and high performance
- Leverage talent analytics to identify gaps, surface insights, and inform decision-making
- Support the case for tech investment and develop a product-led L&D strategy
- Collaborate with a supportive People team (approximately 20 to 25 members), including TA, Reward, Ops, and People Partners
You’ll Thrive Here If You Are:
- Experienced (3 to 5+ years) in Talent, L&D, or People Partner roles
- Skilled at designing and executing talent strategies in mid-sized organisations (500 to 1,000 FTE)
- Comfortable using data and analytics to drive impact and influence stakeholders
- Energised by build-and-scale environments rather than legacy HR models
- A proactive self-starter who works autonomously and collaborates effectively
- Familiar with UK employment practices and platforms such as HiBob or LearnAmp
- Bonus points if you’ve worked in tech, fintech, or regulated industries and care deeply about inclusive development
Why Join?
This isn’t just another job, you’ll be part of a company built on purpose, performance, and people-first values.
- Hybrid working: 3 days per week in our newly refurbished London HQ
- Flexible benefits pot: tailor perks to suit you and your family
- Private medical and dental, wellbeing support, fertility assessments, EAP, flu jabs
- Dedicated L&D budget, access to learning platforms, and coaching
- Enhanced parental leave policies and carer support
- Cycle to Work and Electric Car schemes, discounted gym memberships, and more
- Progression - clear internal mobility and opportunities to grow
