Senior Supply Chain Manager, Relay Load Board (RLB), ATSAmazon’s Senior Supply Chain Managers play a central role in our global business. They ensure our complex, international supply chains operate seamlessly and efficiently. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from operational teams fulfilling customer orders to retail teams and beyond. Your goal will be to optimize our supply chains to enhance customer experience and improve energy and cost efficiency. Key job responsibilitiesLead the weekly business review of RLB throughout the year. Manage RLB demand planning for high-volume events and disruption weeks to ensure capacity meets network needs. Collaborate with multiple Amazon business units to understand how their plans impact ours. Coordinate with Surface Transportation Scheduling and Forecasting teams to address critical business topics. Identify root causes of failures and implement systematic solutions through appropriate processes. Dive deep into issues, understanding stakeholder contributions and challenges, while maintaining a strategic perspective. Provide operational updates on risks and opportunities related to RLB capacity in the network. Work with the forecasting team to monitor and improve RLB performance. Conduct deep dives to resolve short-term issues and develop long-term solutions. Develop automations, data pipelines, and dashboards to enhance planning capabilities. Share updates with leadership regarding risks to plans and mitigation strategies. A day in the lifeThis role involves problem solving, collaboration, and strategic planning. You will work with various teams to navigate challenges impacting our network, resolve temporary issues, and contribute to larger projects. Your days will be varied, from defining supply chain models to resource planning during busy periods, offering continual learning opportunities. About the teamRelay Load Board (RLB) is a key component of Amazon’s middle mile network, handling a significant share of Amazon Linehaul transportation volume. It helps manage disruptions and protect customer experience. Minimum requirementsA degree in a relevant field Experience analyzing data and creating reports for leadership Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels Experience managing multiple projects with deadlines Proficiency in English (verbal and written) Skills in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel) Experience defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements Preferred qualificationsExperience in supply chain planning, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning Knowledge of data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight) Degree in STEM or an MBA Amazon is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
