We are seeking a Senior Fleet Supply Chain Manager for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role is crucial in enhancing Amazon’s culture and supporting the success of our Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) within the fast-paced Amazon Logistics organization. The Fleet Scheduling Team continuously reviews the needs of new and existing DSPs and allocates a diverse fleet of vehicles to support growth. Additionally, this position plays a key role in expanding our Electric fleet.
The Fleet Supply Chain Manager will influence various stakeholders and communicate deployment plans effectively, working closely with DSP Managers, Fleet Management Centers, Rental Suppliers, Variable Fleet, and Demand Planning teams. Strong negotiation skills are essential for prioritizing development of mechanisms to track and control deployment planning, with a primary focus on fleet utilization efficiency. The preferred locations for this role are Milan, Luxembourg, London, Paris, or Munich.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders across Fleet Operations, Physical Supply Chain, Finance, Demand and Supply Planning, Variable Fleet, and DSP Management to model and define decisions for short/medium-term deployments.
- Conducting deep dives and risk assessments during demand fluctuations or operational disruptions, advising on backup plans such as rental procurement, Armada fast deployments, reallocation, or DSP share adjustments.
- Designing and reporting on supply ramp progress before and after peak periods, ensuring visibility and buy-in from internal teams like Business Analytics and Central Operations.
- Bridging short/medium-term plans (10 weeks), highlighting supply and demand risks and opportunities to meet financial targets.
- Supporting or owning LEAN initiatives (e.g., buffer/contingency reductions) and cross-country processes such as vehicle health audits, ad-hoc requests, defleet incentives, and financial assessments.
Minimum qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in fleet, supply chain, or logistics industry.
- Experience in business ownership, partnership, and analysis.
- Proven ability in reporting and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize amidst high engagement volume.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced or master's degree.
- SQL proficiency.
- Understanding of fleet management KPIs.
- Fluency in French or German.
