Key Responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Environmental Manager to join our growing Environment function and lead a team of environmental professionals based in the North of England and Scotland. You will work to support a wide portfolio of projects across divisions, delivering strategic environmental and sustainability programmes and driving measurable improvements and environmental excellence in operations. You will lead, develop and grow a team of Environmental Advisors and Managers, building capability and capacity. Working closely with senior leaders, operational teams, clients and regulators, you will communicate performance, risks and opportunities and drive cross-contract collaboration. You will identify and champion innovations and digital solutions, developing business cases that deliver long-term value. You will also support work winning, business development and contract mobilisation by providing critical environmental inputs. What you'll bring Environmental degree (or equivalent) or a related discipline, Chartered membership of ISEP (or equivalent), Proven environmental leadership/management experience within construction, including leading multi‑disciplinary teams across multiple projects or contracts. Values‑led people leader with experience developing teams, holding others to account and driving continual improvement. Clear, credible communicator able to influence senior leaders, clients, regulators and operational teams, building trusted relationships and improving environmental performance and culture. Experience supporting work winning and mobilisation activities, including tender responses, presentations and bid inputs. Strong organisational, planning and project management skills, able to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines. Full UK driving licence (where operationally required).
