We are seeking a senior communication expert passionate about business strategy communications, leadership communications, and employee engagement. The Business Communications team is responsible for protecting and enhancing the company's reputation through corporate communications, crisis management, PR, executive positioning, CSR, and public affairs across stakeholder groups.
As the Senior Communications Manager for the Grooming & Beauty Personal Health Business Unit and Western Europe Region, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and their Leadership Team. You will report to the Head of Business Communications, Personal Health, and be part of Philips’ Communications & Brand team. The role is based in Amsterdam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal and external communication plans for the Business Unit and Region leaders, including internal social media, town halls, region visits, customer engagement, key opinion leader engagement, and external thought leadership activities.
- Create and execute a long-term global employee engagement program, collaborating with leaders, HR, Business Excellence, and other functions to foster engagement and culture.
- Lead proactive public relations efforts for product launches and innovations, including media relations, influencer strategies, and PR toolkits.
- Coordinate cross-business initiatives within Personal Health.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in internal and external communications, with agency experience highly preferred.
