You must have in-depth knowledge of documentation and legal frameworks related to derivatives trading (e.g., ISDA, CSA/VMCSA, brokerage and master agreements) and a strong understanding of regulatory environments relevant to OTC derivatives. Key Responsibilities:Serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance on complex contractual frameworks including ISDAs, delegated reporting agreements, broker and service-level agreements, ensuring regulatory and internal compliance. Advise trading teams on contractual and commercial risks, ensuring agreements are robust and aligned with operational requirements. Support in resolving contractual disputes, engaging with legal counsel as needed. Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and assess their impact on business activities. Draft and negotiate tailored agreements to support new or complex trading strategies. Maintain records of negotiations and agreements for clarity to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit standards, especially regarding derivatives and SOX requirements. Provide commercial advice pre- and post-trades for optimal outcomes. Understand and ensure compliance with confirmations processes and regimes like EMIR. Support cross-team efforts to maintain business continuity. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multicultural environment.
