Berkshire with travel to Lincolnshire REF: 10072 Sir Richard Sutton Limited manages and owns a portfolio of trading assets and businesses in the property, farming and hotel sectors. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and commercially focussed individual to support the Director of Rural Property in overseeing a wide range of responsibilities across their Berkshire and Lincolnshire Rural Estates which include: The Benham Estate in Berkshire which extends to 6,500 acres and is situated to the west of Newbury and lies within the North Wessex Downs AONB. It includes a diverse portfolio of let residential and commercial property, farming, forestry and sporting enterprises. The Stainton Estate in Lincolnshire which extends to 9,000 acres and is mainly situated to the north east of Market Rasen in the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB. It includes a diverse portfolio of let residential, farming, forestry and sporting enterprises. Based predominantly at the Benham Estate in Berkshire, the role will also involve travel to Lincolnshire. The chosen candidate will engage in both the management of daily operations and strategic initiatives across the Estates including: Asset management of commercial and residential properties. Development of redundant property and greenfield sites. Renewable energy projects (including solar farms). Identification of business diversification opportunities. Environmental schemes, carbon offsetting and BNG opportunities. Management of Estate woodlands. Sales and purchases of property and land. The ideal candidate will hold MRICS / CAAV qualifications accompanied by experience in estate management, either on an estate or within a firm. Showing confidence, he/she will be capable of taking charge and leading various projects independently with minimal supervision. A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a friendly and resourceful demeanour, you will be someone ambitious in nature, eager to take initiative, demonstrate capabilities and contribute ideas.
