RINA is currently recruiting for a Regulatory Compliance Consultant to join its office in Leatherhead within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
Responsibilities:
- Assess products against legislation and standards.
- Research materials and their applications across industries.
- Develop compliance documentation, including technical files, test data, and risk assessments.
- Deliver sound regulatory advice to a diverse client base, including manufacturers, trade associations, and regulators.
- Manage projects effectively, ensuring they meet cost and time budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, attend industry events, and promote our services.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:- A degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, materials science, engineering, environmental science, or law) or 1+ years of experience in these fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sharp attention to detail.
- Knowledge of regulations such as REACH, RoHS, WEEE, or Ecodesign.
- Familiarity with manufacturing techniques and materials used in electrical and electronic products.
- Previous technical consultancy experience.
- Progress towards Chartered Status or security clearance.
