We are expanding our Fixed Income Technology team, specifically growing our London Fixed Income Rapid Application Development (RAD) team. This specialist team of engineers, quantitative developers, and data scientists offers tactical delivery capabilities to our Portfolio and Risk Managers. The team primarily develops solutions in Python and collaborates closely with various Portfolio Management teams, interacting with a wide range of technologies. ResponsibilitiesWork with portfolio management and risk teams to turn ideas into practical solutions, rapidly iterating from prototype to production. Automate data retrieval and custom analytics, in various delivery formats, combining internal and market data sources. Design and build data visualizations and user interfaces to visualize data trends and facilitate custom workflows. Integrate into Millennium\’s active and dynamic culture by delivering timely solutions to portfolio and risk managers, working across diverse teams and technologies. Partner with the Fixed Income Management team to capture requirements, monitor delivery, and manage expectations. Maintain, support, and improve capabilities as new requirements arise. Mandatory RequirementsAdvanced degree in computer science or related scientific fields. Experience with financial markets (rates, FX, credit). Knowledge of financial mathematics, modeling, and statistics. At least 3 years of development experience with Python (e.g., pandas, numpy) or C++/Java. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a production environment. Solid communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented, organized, with strong ownership of work. Preferred RequirementsProficiency in Python data science stack. Experience with cloud technologies.
