About Monument Technology Limited

In building its core UK banking business, Monument has developed an open, scalable, cloud native and world-leading banking technology platform, which has allowed it to make significant inroads fast into the asset-rich, time-poor, and under-served mass-affluent market. The platform was designed to be modular, flexible and extendable into other banking products and channels.

Monument Technology provides everything needed to build and run a bank with an open, configurable, end-to-end, banking platform as a service which uses best-in-class components to empower small and medium-sized banks around the world to thrive in the digital age.

About the Role

As a Programme Manager at Monument Technology Ltd (MTL), you will oversee the implementation of a portfolio of client contracts. This includes managing concurrent, large-scale programmes alongside smaller projects and workstreams. You will work cross-functionally, from early engagement with the Commercial team to support bids and define delivery models, through to programme initiation, execution, and handover to Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of client contracts, from scope definition and resourcing to cost modelling and timeline planning.
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of robust project documentation, aligned to governance and approval processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, providing a portfolio-wide view to support proactive decision-making.
  • Produce and present clear, actionable management reports for both internal and client stakeholders.
  • Manage projects in line with contractual agreements, applying rigorous change control procedures.
  • Facilitate and lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party suppliers.
  • Embed the MTL Implementation Framework, ensuring delivery lifecycle adherence and timely production of required artefacts.
  • Lead by example — mentor and coach team members while managing day-to-day delivery activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience leading programmes involving complex customer contract implementations in a technology or fintech environment within the financial services sector.
  • Ability to apply and flex between multiple delivery methodologies across different phases.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of information systems and delivery processes across financial services or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success delivering customer programmes end-to-end, with measurable impact.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable managing your own workload and supporting team delivery under pressure.
  • Familiarity with service management frameworks and ITIL principles (desirable).
  • Proficiency in key tools: Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Confluence and PowerPoint.
