Job Introduction
London Liverpool Street and Moorgate branches are to merge to form London City Branch, creating an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Private Banking Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing a customer portfolio, as well as winning and onboarding new customers through proactive business development activities. You will have full responsibility for all aspects of customer relationships within the portfolio (excluding Regulated Mortgage activity), including credit applications, customer analysis, reviews, documentation, covenant compliance, and profitability.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop a portfolio of private banking customers, building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Identify, meet, and win prospective new customers/introducers by showcasing our services and facilities.
- Work within the Bank's Credit Policy, ensuring lending decisions are within the discretion granted by the Branch Manager.
- Interpret financial information, evaluate lending propositions, assess risk ratings, and structure transactions.
- Use Bank systems to complete credit applications and reviews.
- Develop an understanding of the local market and maintain relationships with professional firms and introducers.
- Understand Handelsbanken's products and stay informed about competitor offerings, industry trends, and market developments.
- Handle general administration, legal documentation, customer files (including CDD/AML), reviews, and payments.
