You’ll be responsible for designing and optimisingmainframe architectures , supportingcloud migrations, API integrations, and automation initiatives . Key Responsibilities: Design and implementscalable, secure, and high-performancemainframe solutions Definearchitecture roadmapsand ensure alignment with IT and business strategies Leadmainframe modernisation , includingcloud migration, API enablement, and DevOps adoption Optimisez/OS, CICS, COBOL, DB2, MQ, IMS , and related technologies Provide technical leadership inintegration, automation, and performance tuning Collaborate withenterprise architects, engineers, and key stakeholders Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as aMainframe Solution Architectin complex enterprise environments Expertise inz/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS, COBOL, JCL, REXX, and Assembler Experience withmainframe modernisation, cloud integration, and API development Strong understanding ofhigh availability, security, and disaster recoveryon mainframes Familiarity withDevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation toolsfor mainframes Ability to work independently and providetechnical leadership across projects Apply now with your CV or contact Tristan Thompson at Chapman Tate Associates for more information.
