Your Opportunity as the Lead, Talent

Contribute to the growth of our talent and play a key role in helping our organization stay ahead of the curve. Leverage your project management and influential skills to create, implement and deliver talent solutions across our entire enterprise.

Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)

Work Arrangements: Hybrid 30% or more in office presence as business need requires

In this role you will:

  • Contribute to the development of the talent strategy across the employee lifecycle (i.e. Talent Acquisition, Development, Career, Performance)
  • Ideate, design, and execute next phase of talent metrics; leverage data to identify areas of opportunity and impact
  • Lead Performance Management process including Objective Setting, Mid-Year and Year-End launches
  • Develop tactics, solutions, resources and processes needed for the execution of strategy
  • Partner with Organization Business Partners on SBA and/or function specific needs, where needed
  • Contribute to Company-wide development planning (formal and informal) in support of our Thrive Together framework
  • Support other organization development interventions that aim to improve our organization's performance (i.e., team building, leadership development programs, culture assessments, change management)
  • Partner to drive strategies, programs and tactics toward ongoing development and evolution of Company culture and other large-scale enterprise change initiatives
  • Conduct organization assessments to identify opportunities for growth across culture, attitudes and behaviors
  • Partner with HR leaders, colleagues and collaborate with leaders to define organizational vision, design principles and strategy roadmaps
  • Leverage data and insights to drive continuous improvement of organization solutions and change success

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree
  • Track record of working in a mature HR-COE model and matrixed HR organization
  • Proven ability to create strong partnerships across teams to develop and implement solutions without direct authority
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively collaborate and influence employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems and identify root cause to inform surgical action
  • Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, meeting deadlines, and functioning as part of a team
  • Experience managing all facets of performance management
  • Program and/or project management in the HR space with a bias for action
  • Indirectly leading others and launching initiatives, programs, and experiences
  • Applying current industry best practices, guidelines, regulations, and laws
  • Facilitating with an executive presence and professional maturity to deliver difficult messages in an empathetic manner
  • Successfully navigating ambiguity and complexity; comfort making reversible decisions
  • Ensuring high-quality output by showing concern for all aspects of the deliverable
  • Expert skills with Microsoft Excel, data analysis, data storytelling in Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with online collaboration tools
  • Flexibility to work a non-traditional work schedule, adjusting to the peaks and valleys of deliverables
