What you’ll do
The IT Security organization is responsible for delivering information security, practice governance & assurance, and data loss prevention across the TJX enterprise. Our worldwide team applies expertise and deep business understanding to ensure confidence for all associates, investors, and customers. As a Manager of Network Security, you will demonstrate deep knowledge in Network Security, including firewalls, NAC, and related components. You will oversee operations, guide technical direction, collaborate with architecture and security consultants, and present progress and improvements to enhance our security posture.
What you’ll need
- Extensive experience in Network Security Operations or Engineering, especially on large-scale corporate networks
- Leadership in operations for Network Security tools like NGFWs (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint), IDS/IPS, NAC, security monitoring, automation, and compliance solutions
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF), transport (TCP, UDP), and application layer protocols (HTTP, FTP, DNS, SIP, RTP)
- Experience with SDWAN and cloud network security preferred
- Previous role as a tech lead or manager in network security operations
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration ability across teams
- Strong resource and project management skills, including managing offshore teams
