Our mission? To enable businesses to seamlessly sell and manage their subscription products, both online and offline.
Join the Limio team as an Implementation Engineer! This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with customers and eager to solve technical challenges. It’s an exciting opportunity to grow your skills while helping leading subscription brands adopt Limio’s products and achieve seamless, successful launches. As part of our Solutions team, you’ll make an immediate impact, driving the success of global clients and learning from a talented technical team of developers.
The Role: As an Implementation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in helping Limio customers implement, adopt, and successfully go live with our products and new features. You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs, identify the best technical solution with support from your team, and deliver the solution effectively.
- Role Overview: The role involves 25% customer interaction, 25% configuration, and 50% development.
Customer Focus: Work directly with customers to gather their business requirements, translating them into tailored configurations and customisations within the Limio platform.
Configuration & Development: Use Limio’s tools, APIs, the React developer framework, and scripts to configure and customise the platform for customer-specific needs.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot technical issues during implementation, identify solutions, and guide customers through any challenges.
Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams, such as Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Support, to resolve complex issues and continuously enhance the implementation process.
Customer Training: Provide training and guidance to customers, helping them become self-sufficient in using the Limio platform and resolving common technical issues.
The Technology: As an Implementation Engineer in the Solutions team, you’ll work primarily with Limio’s Developer Experience, which includes a set of React frameworks, SDK, and REST APIs. Your work may also involve running JavaScript scripts, investigating issues in the AWS Console, or managing deployments in Terraform.
About You: You should apply if you have at least 6 months of professional experience with React and Node (essential). You have experience working with customers in a commercial setting (consulting, agency, freelance, etc.). You enjoy collaborating directly with customers to gather requirements, explain technical details, and guide them through configuration and customisation. You can demonstrate experience in problem-solving and designing solutions based on customer-specific needs, ensuring a smooth implementation process. You can align to project timelines and coordinate between internal teams and customers to deliver successful implementations on time. You are comfortable with scripting or coding for custom configurations or integrations, but your focus is on delivering functional solutions rather than building software from scratch. You want to use AI in your day-to-day work, leveraging ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot and more to accelerate your work. You must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
Nice to Have: You’ve recently completed a technical degree, code bootcamp, or self-learning course.
Benefits: A competitive salary of £35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience and location, stock option grant, 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays + extra day leave for mental health day), up to 5 paid training days per year with a £1,000 yearly training budget, the latest equipment (MacBook, Magic Mouse, and Magic Keyboard), opportunities to travel.
Our team works from our Bermondsey office three days a week, specifically Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You are welcome to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, giving you a balanced mix of in-person collaboration and flexible working.
The interview process: 1. Apply via LinkedIn 2. An initial call to get to know you 3. A code test to do at home 4. 2 x 1 hour remote interviews (technical and culture fit) 5. Meet the team in person 6. (If possible) A reference check from a previous manager 7. Receive a Limio offer.
