Job Description HV & Substation Project Manager – EV Charging Infrastructure Location:Hybrid | London-based office | 3 days per week onsite Salary:£65,000–£75,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance (£7k) OTE:Up to £90,000 Benefits:Private Medical | Matched Pension up to 10% | Salary Sacrifice Car Scheme About the Company My client is a fast-growing charge point operator on a mission to make sustainable transport accessible to everyone. The Opportunity They are seeking ahighly experienced HV & Substation Project Managerto oversee the delivery ofhigh-voltage substations and grid connectionsfor their nationwide portfolio of EV charging hubs. This role is critical to the success of their infrastructure rollout andrequires hands-on experiencewithHV electrical infrastructure ,substation builds , and work withinICP/DNO environments . Key Responsibilities Lead the full lifecycle delivery of EV hub sites with a focus on HV substations and connections Manage and coordinate site-level works across civils and electrical infrastructure Work closely with ICPs, DNOs, and contractors to deliver on time, safely, and to a high standard Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and technical regulations Collaborate with planning, engineering, commercial, and local authority teams Conduct site visits, monitor progress, resolve delivery issues, and report on project milestones Ideal Candidate Profile Strong experience deliveringHV infrastructure and substation projects Background inutilities, ICP/DNO environments , or large-scale energy/EV programmes Excellent track record in managing multi-site project delivery Confident in site leadership, contractor coordination, and issue resolution Technically hands-on with strong stakeholder communication skills Practical knowledge of civils and electrical compliance If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please apply on LinkedIn.
