About the role: We’re looking for Engineering Graduates to join Telent’s Asset Management Division, where you will apply your existing knowledge and skills working on real projects, whilst learning new skills along the way. You’ll gain practical experience working on a range of projects for one of our key customers, TfL. You’ll be rotated around different teams including system design and system builds, network and security, project engineering and system maintenance. You’ll also be able to progress your continuous professional development and become IET accredited. This is a hybrid role with a blend of homeworking, with 2 days per week in the office and occasional site visits.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work on live projects alongside experienced engineers
  • Assist with the design, planning, installation and commissioning of critical digital and physical rail infrastructure
  • Support the implementation of innovative solutions, ensuring all work is undertaken with safety and quality front of mind
  • Undertake site visits and inspections, learning to interpret technical drawings, carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and diverse project stakeholders, developing your professional communication and reporting skills
  • Actively contribute to project meetings, problem-solving sessions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Receive ongoing mentoring and training as you progress towards professional accreditation, developing your technical and leadership capabilities

What you’ll bring: We’re looking for a recent Graduate that has studied Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electrical Engineering or System Engineering. A flair for solving complex technical issues and can identify and understand risk to a project. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with proven team working and leadership abilities. Self-motivation, able to work on your own initiative and under pressure. Practical use of Microsoft Office applications.
