Interpath Advisory, a financial advisory business with a focus on creating, defending, preserving, sustaining, and growing value, is seeking a Graduate Associate for its Contentious Insolvency team.
As a Graduate Associate in the Restructuring Advisory - Contentious team, you will work in a dynamic environment where you will be involved in managing complex cases that challenge conventional financial solutions. The role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals addressing restructuring scenarios often filled with disputes and contentious elements.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the management of contentious insolvency cases, including antecedent transactions, misfeasance/breach of duty claims, and asset tracing
- Conducting research and analysis of financial data and legal precedents to support case strategy
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents to assist in case preparation and client communications
- Assisting with responses to claims and enquiries from creditors, liquidators, and other stakeholders
- Supporting senior team members in building and maintaining relationships with clients and external advisors
- Staying updated on changes in legal and regulatory requirements relevant to contentious insolvency matters
- Participating in professional development programs and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Strong academic record with an interest in insolvency and litigation
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
