The Client: An established, growing UK care organisation offering supported living, living homes and more, with locations in Kent, Nottingham, Cheshire, Stoke-on-Trent and more. The company have around 300 employees and a friendly, collegiate ethos.

The Employee Engagement Manager / Club Captain Role: This is a unique role for someone who loves to travel, mostly by car, and create community by championing the company's internal employee engagement programme. You will be charged with driving awareness, excitement and take-up of the "Employee Club" across all UK sites, and liaise with employees. An ambassador for the Club, you will reach out, inform, inspire and ensure that employees reap the benefits offered.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Internal promotion of the Employee Club offering across all business areas and locations
  • Deliver communication campaigns to showcase Club content, including wellbeing, recognition, perks, and employee support.
  • Travel regularly to UK sites to host face-to-face engagement sessions, deliver briefings, run drop-ins, and gather real-time feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Operations, and local managers to tailor engagement activity to site-specific needs.
  • Maintain and update the digital hub for the Employee Club
  • Create internal newsletters, posters, toolkits, and digital content to highlight upcoming offers, success stories, and wellbeing themes.
  • Track participation and feedback to inform ongoing improvement of the Club and related internal comms.

Candidate Specification:

  • Experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or HR communications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a confident, approachable style - especially face-to-face.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills.
  • Passionate about employee wellbeing, benefits, and recognition.
  • Ability to plan, deliver and measure communication and engagement activity.
  • Comfortable travelling regularly across UK sites (a full UK driving licence is desirable).
  • Experience using internal communication tools and digital engagement platforms.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a flexible, part-time, and field-based role.

Additional Information:

  • Salary up to £55k pro rata, depending on experience
  • Independent working style, reporting to Head of HR
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable
