Electronic Repair Technician

Location: Salford

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Salary: Competitive

Contract: Temp to Perm

The Company: My Client is a leading manufacturing business with a global scope who offer a friendly and dynamic culture. You will be tasked with repairing several different machines, focusing on the disassembly and reassembly of equipment, diagnostic and fault-finding work as well as testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fault finding down to component level on various electronic devices.
  • Diagnose and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other minor electronic components.
  • Utilize testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to troubleshoot and verify repairs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, including work performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and share knowledge.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electronics repair, with a focus on PCB and component-level troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of electronic principles and circuit design.
  • Proficiency in using repair tools and testing equipment.
