Where will you be working? At M Group Rail and Aviation, our team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our engineering and delivery teams, supporting the design and construction of infrastructure projects across our frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, planning and delivery of civil engineering solutions for infrastructure projects
  • Support site investigations, surveys and assessments to inform design and construction decisions
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers
  • Attend site visits to gain hands-on experience and understand construction methodologies
  • Assist in monitoring project progress, quality and compliance with health and safety standards
  • Support the identification and resolution of engineering challenges during project delivery
  • Learn how to manage subcontractors and suppliers, and contribute to procurement activities
  • Participate in risk assessments, method statements and environmental planning

  • Developing technical knowledge in areas such as drainage, earthworks, reinforced concrete and pipeline installation
