We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end? The successful candidate will enrol onto the Civil Engineering Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship , with one of our partner Universities. Over 5 years, you will work towards a Level 6 in Civil Engineering. As an Estimating Degree Apprentice, you’ll have the opportunity to: Supporting the collation and organisation of all tender documents and amendments with the bid team. You’ll be assisting with the measurement of quantities for cost plan production, you’ll also help to produce cost plans and estimates for the bidding process. Learn and assist with the preparation of economic inflation. Reporting work on the production of subcontract enquiries and help to analyse sub-contract and supplier return quotations to maximise our profit on projects. Supporting the Estimator team with the completion of tender summaries, reports and the preparation of tender preliminaries. You will also attend governance and settlement meetings and develop relationships with the supply chain. In addition, we will expect you to visit sites to gain a full appreciation of the scale, scope and risks associated the scheme to be tendered.
