IFPI’s Global Content Protection and Enforcement (CPE) department delivers 24/7 monitoring and reporting of online infringements, provides technical analysis and investigations and in connection with services that infringe and facilitate infringement of our members’ rights. The department devises strategies and programmes to deter, disrupt and dismantle illegal online activities, which are executed in partnership with law enforcement agencies, intermediaries and administrative authorities. Role IFPI’s Content Protection & Enforcement team is looking for an experienced, proactive, passionate and creative individual to assist with the analysis, development and reporting of music piracy intelligence. The candidate will identify, collect, interpret, develop and evaluate data and information obtained from a range of sources, and turn it into actionable intelligence to support civil and criminal cases. The candidate will be asked to produce, or contribute to, reports that contain the analysis and recommendations on next stages of intervention, thereby fulfilling an important role in discussions surrounding strategic and tactical decisions. Working on several cases at a time, the candidate will require excellent communication and organisational skills. Requirements ·Proactive investigative experience, in particular internet-based investigations. ·Ability to identify and develop actionable intelligence. ·Experience in Open Source and Social Media intelligence. ·Ability to produce reports, documents and intelligence briefings to a high standard. ·Experience liaising with internal/external stakeholders. ·Ability to identify and mitigate against risk. ·Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure. ·Good knowledge of internet-based piracy and current threats. ·Knowledge of musical genres and current top artists. ·Understanding of domain, mobile applications and DNS networks would be advantageous. ·Innovative and demonstrate a keen eye for detail ·Passionate about music ·A strong background in supporting – and conducting – internet-based investigations ·Knowledge and or experience of anti-piracy/content protection Please note: The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
