The Role

We are seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our Global Configuration/Document Management team. Reporting to the Senior Manager in Torrance, California, this role is pivotal in implementing and maintaining our Configuration Management (CM) and Document Management (DM) processes across commercial and government programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain CM policies and procedures
  • Facilitate Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA), Change Control Boards (CCBs), and integrated business processes
  • Ensure compliance with CM requirements and Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Manage baselines, change boards, and program artifacts using CM tools
  • Review and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
  • Author and maintain CM plans, procedures, and internal documentation
  • Support and track Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Deviation (RFDs), and Developmental Engineering Proposals (DEPs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements

Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years of Configuration Management experience
  • Proven experience in both commercial and government CM environments
  • Knowledge of Software Configuration Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP, and PLM systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated team player with a commitment to quality and compliance
