This individual is responsible for the overall performance, leadership, mentorship and effectiveness of the estimating team. Effectively develop bids that comply with client needs, while providing an acceptable rate of return Review project estimates to establish accuracy and completeness prior to the client presentation Provide technical support to all estimators and prepare estimates as required Lead the selection of subcontractors and major material vendors for projects Participate in pre-bid, bid strategy and presentation meetings to certify consistency Assist in the preparation of preliminary project schedules and bid proposalsQualifications Engineering degree or technical diploma in engineering technology. Trade apprentiship or certificate an asset. Ten or more years of experience in construction estimating; commercial or industrial construction is preferred.
