This position is the ideal role for aspiring and existing event professionals, with experience in event technology, who are committed to taking service excellence to the next level. You will be passionate about delivering incredible event attendee experiences through app-based event solutions. Working with an impressive variety of Life Science, Professional Services and other Enterprise clients you will become a subject matter expert for SpotMe/Onomi solutions, delivering in-person, remote and hybrid events adding value at every stage of the event project life cycle.
You will appreciate operating at a fast pace on a variety of projects, with a strong customer-centric mindset and strong attention to detail, this role will make you part of our growing international team. Our most successful Project Managers become Senior within 2-3 years, which then opens new opportunities for career growth with the company.
As an Associate Event Project Manager you will be successfully delivering high volumes of events, reporting to the Manager, Event Services as part of our network of associates. This will involve independently building, configuring and launching our web and mobile native event apps using SpotMe Backstage (35%). You will be professionally managing our clients, and other senior stakeholders with clear, timely communications to enhance the client experience adding value across the entire project lifecycle (20%).
As you approach the live event, you'll coordinate closely with vendors, internal departments, and the customer to ensure seamless execution on live event day. Responsibilities may include badge printing, iPad sign-in, lead scanning, managing onsite AV and equipment, driving audience engagement, and thoroughly reviewing apps to guarantee flawless delivery (20%). For the live event, you'll ensure speakers are fully briefed and prepared, whether they're presenting in a webinar, hosting a virtual session, or speaking onsite. You'll oversee event operations to ensure everything runs smoothly (20%). Following the event, you'll handle post-event communications, analyze event data, and deliver insightful reports and recommendations to the customer, highlighting successes and identifying areas for future improvement (5%).
As an Associate Event Project Manager you will be onboarded to the company, become familiar with our systems and processes, be introduced to the team and you will hit the ground running.
In your first month, you will:
- Learn Backstage by getting certified with our SpotMe Academy, and by embedding yourself in building platforms with your line manager.
- Get trained on how we deliver projects at SpotMe/Onomi and experience it by shadowing colleagues in meetings across each of the event project stages, including Project Onboarding, Workspace Build, Registration & App Launch, Live Event and Project Offboarding.
- Participate in virtual live events or onsite events to be trained on our live engagement capabilities and our onsite logistics solutions, event schedule permitting during the first month.
After 3 Months, you have:
- Taken the lead in your first event as the Project Lead and manage the Kick Off call with timely client communication, and displaying sound technical knowledge of the event requirement.
- Built your first new event in Backstage with supervision, demonstrating quality follow up emails and no errors in the email configuration found during the Project Review.
- Delivered at least live event days as Project lead or Onsite Coordinator and maintained CES at β₯4.3 and sNPS at β₯56%.
- Delivered all of your assigned onsite deployments, spending time onsite, with some positive feedback from your customers.
After 6 Months you have:
- Delivered multiple live events (a mix of virtual and onsite), while maintaining minimum levels of CES at β₯4.5 and sNPS at β₯60%.
- Built all of your existing and new events in Backstage with minimal supervision, demonstrating quality follow up emails and no errors in all core modules of the event found during Project Reviews.
- Received praise from your customers for your contributions to the successful event delivery and how you've helped to enhance the event experience and outcomes.
Live event days are defined as a live day, or part day, for an event delivered either remotely or onsite as part of a longer duration event.
