About the AI Research Residency
The AI Research Residency at MediaTek Research is a fixed-term program designed for recent graduates and early-career researchers. This immersive experience offers the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge AI research under the mentorship of experienced scientists and engineers. Residents work on impactful projects that bridge theoretical advances with practical applications. Qualifications
Required: PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
Preferred: Experience in optimization, reinforcement learning, and/or large language models (LLMs). Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX). A strong publication record in top conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL).
