VOLUNTEERS required for our Heritage Sites 11am β 4pm Thursday to Sunday Immediate requirements for Sundays, Thursday to Saturday β bank and relief cover Upottery Heritage Centre South West Airfields Heritage Trust, or SWAHT for short, is a non-profit making, educational, charitable trust founded in 2003. See our Unique Original Photographic Archive Documenting the major role this historic airfield played during the night of June 5th and the D-Day operation on June 6th 1944 and the Bravery of the men who flew from here. All housed within part of the original 439th Troop Carrier Group HQ Officersβ Complex and original Nissen Hut.
