Join JPMorgan Chase & Co., a global leader in financial services, as a Vice President in our EMEA Government Relations team. Based in London, you will play a crucial role in shaping policy and advocacy strategies that align with our business goals and support our operations across the region. As a Vice President in the EMEA Government Relations team, you will monitor and influence policy and regulatory developments impacting our business in consumer and digital banking. You will represent JPMorgan Chase before government officials and external stakeholders, working closely with colleagues across London, Washington DC, New York, and Hong Kong.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor UK and EU political, policy, and regulatory developments affecting consumer and digital banking.
- Provide senior leadership with timely information on emerging issues and help develop the firm's position.
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies on policy, legislative, and regulatory proposals.
- Build and maintain a strong network of internal and external stakeholders for intelligence gathering and strategy development.
- Represent the firm at meetings with government officials and other external stakeholders.
- Contribute to trade association efforts and collaborate with counterparts at other firms to leverage collective resources for advocacy.
- Prepare presentations and internal briefings for senior management and business lines.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Relevant experience in UK financial services policy, particularly in retail banking.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex policy issues concisely.
- Ability to work effectively at all organizational levels.
- Integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
- Strong familiarity with EU, UK, and EU Member States political processes, as well as international institutions and regulatory bodies.
- Comfortable working under pressure with competing projects in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
