About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 08 The Team The Evaluated Bond Pricing team provides independent pricing and analytics for government, supranational, agency, and corporate bonds. We price over 260,000 bonds intraday using a proprietary pricing platform and a wide range of market data sources. Our evaluations support index construction, price discovery, risk management, regulatory reporting, and NAV calculations. We operate with flexibility and a flat structure, and you will have real ownership of sectors under your coverage. Responsibilities and Impact – Develop into a fixed income sector specialist with structured training and support from senior colleagues. – Gain real-time awareness of bond markets and observe how macroeconomic events influence trading and prices. – Work with tools like SQL, Python, and Excel to investigate pricing issues, analyse market data, and conduct research. – Engage with traders, valuation, and risk teams to address pricing challenges, explain methodologies, and build trust in our data. – Help design and implement workflow and automation improvements, and contribute to regional product enhancements – Collaborate closely with commercial teams, with the opportunity to develop into a product specialist supporting strategic client and commercial initiatives. What We\’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications – Degree in a finance-related discipline (e.g., Investment, Finance, Risk). – Experience in a capital markets role (e.g., trade support, risk, pricing, or valuations) is desirable. – Experience at an asset manager, hedge fund, data vendor, or investment bank or similar financial institution is desirable. – Experience with Excel, Python, or SQL is desirable. Additional Preferred Qualifications – Some exposure to fixed income or derivatives valuation methods. – Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver accurate work under time pressure, consistently. – Strong communication skills, with the confidence to support internal and client-facing discussions over time. – Self-motivated and eager to grow through self-directed learning and continuous improvement. – Proactive mindset, motivated to identify and propose improvements to existing processes.
