Job Description CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join our client based in Penryn Cornwall. This is a permanent role, where the successful candidate will provide technical support within their laboratory. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm. The Laboratory Technician Role: – Carrying out preparation of samples for analysis. – Performing analysis using XRF / ICP / other techniques as required. – Recording and reporting test results. – Maintaining good laboratory practice and the highest standards of housekeeping and safety. – Performing laboratory admin and housekeeping duties as directed. – Assisting with bench-scale metallurgical test work as required. Your Background: – Degree/HND/HNC in Chemistry, or relevant discipline. – Experience of working in a laboratory. – Experience with using ICP and / or XRF for chemical analysis.
