Job Description Role: Delivery Consultant Location: London/Remote Contract/Perm: Perm Start Date: ASAP Clearances: Internal Background Check (DBS) / Eligible for Security Clearance About Us: Solirius Reply, part of the Reply Group, delivers technical consultancy and application delivery to our clients in order to solve real world problems and allow our clients to respond to an ever-changing technical landscape. We partner closely with our clients, embedding our consultants into their businesses in order to provide a bespoke service, allowing us to truly understand our clients’ needs. It is this close collaboration with our clients that has enabled us to grow rapidly in recent years and will drive our ambitious future growth plans. We currently have over 300 consultants working with a variety of key clients from both the public and private sectors such as the Ministry of Justice, Department for Education, FCDOS, UEFA, International Olympic Committee and Mercedes Benz; with plans to increase our client base further in the near future. We operate as a flat organisation and believe in trusting and supporting our team to operate independently. We pride ourselves on being specialists at what we do, making the most of our consultants’ expertise in their fields in order to provide a best-in-class service to our clients. All our consultants have the opportunity to work on a range of different projects, providing a broad range of knowledge on which to develop their careers and progress in the direction they choose. Main Responsibilities Delivery Management – Responsible for the end to end delivery of projects that Solirius is engaged with – For supporting and advising day to day activities of the team – Facilitating key team events/ceremonies – Responsible for monitoring spend, reporting progress and tracking team velocity – Tracking risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies – Responsible for clearing hurdles for the team to ensure that there is a clear path for development and delivery – Ensuring successful collaboration within the team and within the wider project/programme – Working with and engaging stakeholders with the delivery team – Championing best practice methodologies across the team and each discipline – Exemplifying positive customer focussed behaviour. – Responsible for acting as the assignment manager for the Solirius team on the client site. Account Management – Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients and delivering value to them – Financial management of client accounts – Serve as key point of contact for assigned client(s) – Act as the Client subject matter expert – Develop actionable plans to balance client’s short/long term goals – Manage and report on overall financial success of the account (s) that you are responsible for – Resourcing for client accounts – Identifying new opportunities for Solirius to operate in and contribute to bidding for new work Specialist skills required We want people with: – A background in Agile Delivery across the whole lifecycle of technical projects/service development – A strong experience in Agile scrum methodologies and delivering software in Agile teams – Previous experience and/or qualifications as a Scrum Master would be beneficial. – Experience of Delivery Management in the public sector, in accordance with GDS standards – Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken word with an ability to successfully engage with clients, managers and stakeholders at all levels within a business – Experience of scaled agile methodologies, e.g. SAFe, LeSS etc – Experience in building relationships with people and ensuring we deliver value to our clients – Agile coaching experience would be helpful – Experience of supporting and developing people – Self awareness and high Emotional Intelligence – Experience in maintaining and reporting on budgets Working with clients We are looking for experienced Delivery Consultants, who have delivered agile projects. You will need to be a great leader of people, able to motivate and engage people to deliver excellence for our customers. You will need to have experience of working with a wide variety of stakeholders and have experience of delivery projects from inception through to adoption. In addition to working as a Delivery Consultant, you will also be required to act as an Account Manager and/or Assignment Manager on client accounts Broader Team You\’ll be expected to work with the whole team. This means working with developers, UXdesigners, senior managers, senior stakeholders – in fact anyone we need you to, to produce great digital products for our clients. Delivery Team Within Solirius, you will be responsible for helping us to develop the delivery management practice. This will involve attracting other delivery experts/talent to join our team and to contribute to bids for new work. We want to create digital services that our clients and their customers prefer to use over other channels, and the delivery practice is fundamental to that desire. About You: You are a motivated and adaptable professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for using technology to solve real-world problems. You enjoy working in collaborative, agile teams and take pride in delivering high-quality solutions that make a tangible impact. With strong communication skills and a consultative approach, you’re comfortable engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into effective outcomes.
