Criminal Solicitor | 2+ PQE | Shropshire | Competitive DOE | Flexible/Hybrid Working Available | an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate Criminal Solicitor to join a growing Criminal Defence team has just presented itself. A well-established and highly regarded firm is looking to expand their supportive and respected practice.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Criminal Duty Solicitor to join a well-established Crime Team in Shrewsbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Criminal Solicitor with Duty Solicitor accreditation, or an experienced solicitor who is eligible to undertake criminal duty solicitor work.
The successful candidate will have experience advising and representing clients at police stations, Magistrates' Courts and in criminal proceedings, together with the ability to manage their own caseload and provide high-quality legal advice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working within criminal law.
- Duty Solicitor accreditation or eligibility to undertake Duty Solicitor work.
- Strong advocacy and client-care skills.
- Experience attending police stations and Magistrates' Courts.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A professional and client-focused approach.
