A leading Investment Management group are looking for a Senior Corporate Actions & Income Administrator to join a team who have a wealth of experience. This is a progressive organisation offering an excellent career path in an expanding business.

  • Have 5 years of Corporate Actions experience
  • Experience of Dividends processing
  • Controls
  • Proxy Voting

THE ROLE

Reporting to Operations Manager, you will join a proactive operations department. Responsibilities include:

  • Corporate Action Announcements
    • Review and analyze new / updated Corporate Action announcements
    • Maintain and review corporate action diary
  • Processing
    • Process / authorize Corporate Actions
    • Support / authorization of Corporate Action Instructions with custodians
    • Processing of monthly/quarterly cash distribution, including accumulation payments to clients
    • Processing of client interest calculations
    • Maintain, review, complete sale order for fractional shares resulting from Corporate Actions for pooled positions
    • Process Pooled daily Dividends (UK & Intl), Income cash payments & authorize daily Dividend reconciliations
  • Controls
    • Daily / weekly checks and controls – month end checks for static data on Dividends (rates, yields etc…) for valuation purposes
    • Post reconciliation of Corporate Actions
    • Ensure income standing instructions are in place for new segregated clients
    • Check and review in-house fund distributions
    • Checking end of day cash movements on client portfolios within proprietary system
  • Proxy Voting
    • Process adhoc Proxy Voting requests and maintain reports
    • Ensure Proxy account opening with vendor
    • Weekly monitoring of queries, chasing Custodians where necessary
  • Validation of monthly, quarterly, annual tax vouchers
  • Maintain and update department procedures
