Location – Bodmin area
The surgery:
- GP Training with multiple trainers
- Focused on reducing GP workload
- Clinical support team of ANPs, ECPs, Minor Illness Nurses, Pharmacists, and Paramedics
- Administrative support team of highly-trained Read Coders—GPs now see less than 10% of incoming cases
- Implementation of AI-based triage software
- Piloting new schemes ahead of regional rollout
- New building opening in 2025
- Mixed demographic providing variety
- Uses EMIS Web
Your role:
- Salaried GP (view to Partnership)
- 4 or more sessions per week
- Workload:
- Routine sessions – 22 patients/day (11+11)
- Duty sessions – 29 patients/day (16+13)
- 15-minute appointments
- Coffee breaks in both AM and PM sessions
- Team-based Duty, no solo work
- No home visits (Paramedics handle bulk, Visiting GP on rota)
