Taylor Root is delighted to be partnering with a leading global law firm in their search for a junior associate to join their highly regarded Restructuring and Insolvency team. This is a standout opportunity for a junior lawyer (ideally 1–2 years PQE) from a respected City or strong regional firm to join a team that has been at the forefront of many of the most high-profile and complex restructuring and insolvency matters in recent years. The successful candidate will work alongside a number of experienced partners and senior associates on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious work. The role will lean more towards contentious work but will involve: Advising on debt restructuring strategies and transactions Supporting the delivery of insolvency transactions Handling insolvency disputes, officeholder claims, and other contentious insolvency scenarios Advising public bodies on strategic issues involving actual or potential insolvencies Advising on the enforcement of security in non-consensual situations The team advises a diverse client base, including financial institutions, corporates, insolvency practitioners, investors, and public sector bodies, across a wide range of sectors and jurisdictions. The work is intellectually challenging, fast-paced, and frequently cross-border.
