We are partnering up with a historically strong technology house that is looking for Senior Python Developers to work on a business-critical platform.
This company is well known to be one of the leading financial organizations always striving for engineering excellence. Within this firm, there is a huge push towards an agile, tech-focused mindset, which has allowed them to rapidly reach the top of the market.
They are looking for a Senior Python Developer to come in and help in the build-out of a brand-new platform which will effectively futureproof the business for success. The crux of the work revolves around all aspects of development, from architecture to building microservice-based solutions. You would be developing software around pricing structured products providing real exposure to trading activities and therefore we are seeking someone with exposure to the Front Office or a desire to work in the finance industry. This role carries a huge amount of technical autonomy with the opportunity to work alongside the CTO in a collaborative, agile environment.
Requirements:
- Solid experience with Object Oriented Python
- A desire to go into finance/exposure to Front Office trading
- Proficiency and passion for using collaborative software engineering techniques (agile, TDD, BDD, continuous integration)
- 5 years+ experience
- Commercial experience working with Java
- Computer Science or STEM degree
- Good communication skills
