You must have the availability to travel and on occasion overnight stays. We are looking for an Electrician to join Newcastle Hire Centre. As an Electrician you will carry out electrical testing, electrical installation works and amendments to existing circuits along with the refurbishment and fit out the complete range of Portakabin buildings to the highest possible standards. As well as aftersales, rectification and problem solving work. You must be flexible to travel when required and used to working in a damaging, fast paced, controlled environment. As an Electrician, you will:*Understand and apply the electrical principles and works associated with the design, building, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.*Ensure compliance relevant Health and Safety practices and all applicable legislation to encourage and maintain zero harm environment and culture.*Design and install electrical systems incorporating all types of electrical materials, ensuring that all installations meet current regulations.*Ensure that all buildings are tested to the required standards, including the completion of appropriate documentation/certification where applicable.*As applicable assume responsibility as the qualified supervisor and therefore oversee all testing requirements for the Hire Centre.*Conduct fault finding and undertake rectifications of existing systems both on and off site.
