Job Description HomeServe is looking to recruit an Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and future-ready infrastructure solutions that underpin our major change programmes. The role is based in our Walsall office where we work in a hybrid way with 2 days on site. Salary is competitive + £5,500, 10% bonus, private medical and up to 6% matched pension contribution. This role will; – Lead the development of high-level and detailed infrastructure architecture for complex projects across our business. – Work across a portfolio of programmes, managing multiple technical designs while ensuring alignment with our enterprise architecture and strategic roadmap. – Act as a key technical advisor in early-stage project planning, helping to shape solutions and contribute to business cases. – Collaborate with SMEs, vendors, analysts, developers, and stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of architectural solutions. – Ensure all designs meet HomeServe’s principles, standards, and governance requirements. – Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps spanning hardware, OS, networking, and deployment tools. You will be working closely with project and programme leads. Expect strong cross-functional engagement with stakeholders from across the business, as well as external technology partners. What we are looking for; – Experience across multiple IT disciplines such as infrastructure, application development, and network management. – Proven expertise designing architectures using frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman. – Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. – A deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure components, SOA, and system integration. – Experience within regulated industries (Insurance preferred) is a plus. Qualifications: – Formal architecture certification (desirable)
