Job Description We are a progressive and patient-focused healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality, accessible care across Birmingham. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and qualified Independent Prescriber Pharmacist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the management of minor ailments, long-term conditions, and medicines optimisation. /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n – Conduct independent clinical assessments and issue prescriptions within your clinical competence. /n – Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care pathways. /n – Lead on medicines optimisation initiatives, including medication reviews and audits. /n – Support the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and COPD. /n – Provide expert advice to patients on the safe use of medicines. /n – Contribute to staff training and the development of prescribing protocols. /n /n Requirements: /n /n – Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). /n – Independent Prescriber qualification. /n – Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or prescribing role. /n /n If you would like to hear more about the role, please give Ibriam a call and he would be more than happy to discuss this opportunity further.
