The Human Resources Partner role in our People Experience and Technology (PXT) team can provide you with the fundamentals of HR at Amazon and help you become well-versed in the processes and policies that help us deliver on our promises to our associates and customers.

The Amazon Customer Service PXT team is seeking a Human Resources Partner who is obsessed with delivering an exemplary employee experience with every interaction. Successful candidates will be approachable, action-oriented, flexible problem solvers with great verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. The Human Resources Partner collaborates with senior leaders, HRBPs, and partner teams to innovate, implement, and deploy HR strategies from talent and performance management, compensation, employee relations and other HR functions across the organization you support. Key job responsibilities:

  • Respond accurately and professionally to questions and concerns from associates through multiple channels (in-person, email, phone, etc.) in a timely manner and educate them on how and when to use self-service tools.
  • Provide HR support to managers, including consulting on talent management, performance management, compensation, and employee relations issues. Serve as first point of escalation for employee concerns.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence team to execute HR processes timely and accurately, including new hire orientation, exit interview, employee data maintenance, etc.
  • Compile reports and dashboards regarding critical people metrics such as: attendance, attrition, engagement, employee sentiments, etc.
  • Conduct analysis to identify trends, generate insights, and develop action plans.
  • Conduct regular Gemba Walks and leverage employee sentiment data and feedback to advocate for employee needs, enhance engagement, and continuously drive improvements in HR programs and operational excellence.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and support employee queries with discretion and expertise, applying Amazon policies and high judgment.
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional PXT teams (HRBPs, Employee Relations, Labor Relations) to align on employee engagement actions and execute site-specific programs.
  • Coach and guide frontline leaders to enhance their managerial capabilities and decision-making skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 3+ years of human resources experience
  • Highly effective verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PPT, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in HR, HR Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology or a related field
  • Highly effective written skills in both English and Chinese
  • Proficiency with HRIS Systems and data analysis tools like Quicksight, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • HR experience of supporting a population of over 200 employees in a dynamic environment
