About Us
Nik Dhimal Real Estate is a growing letting agency managing residential properties across Nottingham and the wider East Midlands. We're looking for a reliable, skilled handyman to join our maintenance network on a self-employed basis.
The Role
We need a practical, dependable handyman to carry out general maintenance and repair work across our managed properties in Nottingham. This is steady, ongoing work β not one-off jobs β with a guaranteed volume of days each week.
Typical work includes:
- General repairs (doors, locks, fixtures, fittings)
- Painting and decorating
- Basic plumbing and electrical fixes
- Flat/void turnaround work between tenancies
- Flexible response to reactive maintenance callouts
What We're Looking For
- Experience in general property maintenance or a trade background
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid UTR number and public liability insurance (self-employed status)
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Reliable, well-presented, and comfortable working independently
- Good communication β you'll be dealing directly with tenants at times
