Here at Alcedo Care, we are looking for a Complex Support Worker to provide outstanding care in the St Helens area, with full training provided by our in-house Complex Care Team.
Shift Patterns: Tuesday & Friday 08:30am β 4:30pm every week.
Pay: Excellent rates of pay with Β£14.00 to Β£14.50 per hour, with weekly pay days, holidays, and pension! This equates to a rolled up hourly rate of Β£16.16 β Β£16.74!
This role would be to support a young adult based within the St. Helens area, with complex needs at home and within the community. This package of care requires somebody who is fluent in the Malayalam or Tamil language to help communicate with the client.
Our Complex Nurses are looking to build a permanent team to support, this would be assisting with:
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilation and Cough Assist
- Full support with all aspects of personal care
- Supporting with feeds and administering medication through PEG
- Moving and Handling
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following:
- At least 6 months experience within a UK care setting.
- Fluent in the Malayalam or Tamil language.
- Ideally experience working in Complex Care with Tracheostomy Care, but this is not essential as we will provide you with full training.
- Highly empathetic with excellent motivational and nurturing skills.
