Job Description FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL, 3+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE, CHESHIRE - Develop Your Family Law Career with a Respected and Supportive Legal Practice
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Cheshire.
Working alongside experienced Family Lawyers, you will support a varied caseload while developing your own fee-earning experience within a friendly and supportive team. The Role
You will provide hands-on support across a broad range of Family Law matters, with responsibilities including:
- Supporting solicitors with the management of their caseloads
- Undertaking fee-earning work under supervision
- Drafting applications, statements, correspondence and other legal documents
- Preparing cases and Court bundles
- Attending client meetings, conferences and hearings where appropriate
- Liaising with clients, Counsel and other professionals
- Managing deadlines, diaries and case progression
- Assisting with legal aid applications and billing
- Supporting business development and professional referral relationships
The Candidate
Applications are sought from Family Law Paralegals or Legal Assistants with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
You will have:
- Strong experience within a Family Law team
- Good knowledge of family law procedures and processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A confident, personable and compassionate approach to client care
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
