As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team in Bury and Nelson.

£1,000 Joining Bonus

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Identifying and ordering the correct parts required for repairs
- Conducting road tests and recording findings accurately
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and right-first-time approach
- Recording job times, parts used and technical notes accurately
- Maintaining compliance with all Health & Safety procedures
- Contributing towards workshop performance and service KPIs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- IMI Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent
- At least 4 years' experience in a similar automotive technician role
- Experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repair
- A full UK driving licence (preferably clean)
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to quality workmanship and safe working practices
Not Yet Level 3 Qualified?
We are committed to developing our people. If you currently hold a Level 2 qualification, we can support your progression through a structured development programme designed to help you achieve Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance Technician status.
Working Hours
- Average of 42 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 1-hour unpaid lunch break each day
- Alternate Saturday or Sunday working required
- Shift patterns may vary in line with business requirements
