A large organisation is urgently seeking 2 experienced Java Developers (ideally 1 Senior, 1 Mid-Junior Level) to support a long-term digital transformation project. You will collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects, contribute to solution design, and build high-quality Java applications in a modern cloud environment.
Key skills required include:
- Active BPSS is a MUST (SC Clearance desirable)
- 7+ years (Senior) 2-3 of Java development experience (Java 8+)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms - AWS or Azure
- Confident in TDD/BDD and building robust automated test suites
- Skilled in SQL and noSQL (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and Microservice architectures
- Expert knowledge of modern Java frameworks and design principles
- Experience presenting solutions to Architecture Review Boards (Senior role)
Mostly remote with occasional on-site workshops in North West (travel fully covered).
