Job Description Maiden Marc Associates is working with a leading retained executive search boutique with offices in London and New York to find several Associate and Senior Associate-level profiles to join their teams, specialising in the Financial Services space. Focusing on operationally and strategically essential roles globally, the business has a long track record of finding CEOs, direct reports to the board and leaders of revenue-generating front-office functions within Finance Services, specifically for Hedge Funds, Banks and Asset/Wealth Managers. Working directly under and learning from a hands-on Partner covering their Front-Office, Corporate Functions or Tech, Digital and Data practices, the right individual for the role will be in a position to execute search mandates from day one. You will be encouraged to build your network in the market, manage senior professionals as a trusted advisor and ultimately develop into a fee-generating Principal, allowing you to take responsibility for a revenue area of your own. Core role objectives include: – The ability to identify, reference, and proactively reach out and assess candidates for active retained mandates – Create detail-oriented forensic competitor analysis, strategic overviews, bespoke market benchmarking and product intelligence reports, referencing and profiling market leaders – Executing on search mandates, focusing on candidate management and client delivery, while working closely with the Partners on closing candidates and developing further working relationships with clients – Owning pre-pitch/origination research and due diligence responsibilities The firm is two years into a strategic 5-year growth plan and is looking for Associate and Senior Associate-level talent to become future Principals and leaders to help drive this growth. All high-performing Associates will be genuinely able to impact and grow with the firm – something they can demonstrate through their current outstanding track record of developing talent through the business. They are looking for someone who ideally has the following: – 12 months to five years of experience, preferably within a search or headhunting environment, though they would consider a high-performing contingent recruiter looking for a move to retained search or someone coming from a relevant professional services background – Worked on executive search mandates, market research projects or has the drive to take on this type of detail-oriented role moving forward – Excellent academic credentials with a degree or postgraduate qualification are highly sought-after, alongside exemplary writing skills and a high level of attention to detail – A mature but driven personality that enjoys problem-solving, is motivated to deliver high-quality work, and has a natural drive to overachieve The salary band for the role is dependent on experience, starting at £38,000 and increasing based on background and delivery track record to £80,000+ for more experienced candidates. In addition, they also run an industry-leading total compensation package (base plus performance-driven bonus) alongside opportunities for internal growth, real hands-on mentorship, development from experienced senior leadership, and a route to relocation to their New York office for those interested.
