At Glendale, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Contract Manager based in the North West area to support the Head of Operations with the management and delivery of a prestigious grounds maintenance contract to include management of staff & budgets and planning the tasks & resources to ensure the provision of a high-quality, efficient and safe service. Who are you – A self-motivated and experienced Contract Manager with perseverance and an entrepreneurial appetite. – An in-depth understanding of landscape and horticultural management – A strategic outlook driving continuous service improvement and efficiencies – IT skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Office / Google systems – The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of managing Grounds Maintenance teams, being able to drive productivity and ensuring that the workforce provides a quality service. A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You Based in North West this is a dynamic and hands-on role involving taking the lead on the delivery of our services, monitoring the progress of the teams on-site and taking quick and effective action to maintain both high productivity and client satisfaction across a wide range of static and mobile commercial sites. – Manage and motivate your teams (static / site based and mobile) to deliver the highest possible levels of service. – Responsible for the Contract accounts and production of weekly and monthly reports. – Recruitment of permanent staff. – Daily liaison with Client Officers. – Overseeing system compliance and quality checks. – Organising teams and rotas to produce effective works schedules and ensure delivery – Taking a leading role in health and safety. – Budget planning, preparation and management.
